The event was organized by the “Bright Future” Fund for cancer patients to mark its 15th anniversary. Since its establishment, the fund has mobilized around 190 million USD to support treatment for more than 53,000 disadvantaged cancer patients and provide free cancer screenings for 80,000 people.

In her speech, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra stressed that many underprivileged cancer patients, including children, remain in urgent need of treatment support.

As part of the event, the fund also launched its 2026 campaign, “A Million Acts of Kindness for Cancer Patients.”

Earlier, Deputy PM Tra and fund representatives visited and presented gifts to 260 children receiving treatment at Children’s Hospital 2.
