(VOVworld) – Radio the Voice of Vietnam and the ASEAN Committee for Culture and Information (ASEAN COCI) held an international conference on traffic broadcasting in Hanoi on Monday with representatives of ASEAN members and China.

Addressing the event, Vu Hai, VOV’s Deputy President, expressed his belief that “the seminar is useful for reporters, editors, and producers of traffic programs in ASEAN and China to share their experience in traffic broadcasting towards improving public awareness. Speeches delivered at the meeting and fact-finding tours of VOV and China’s Quangxi People’s Radio Station will be a valuable source of reference for reporters, editors, and radio broadcasters.”

The conference offers a venue for ASEAN’s traffic broadcasters to exchange experiences and improve the efficiency of traffic radio broadcasting programs.

During the 2-day meeting, the ASEAN and Chinese representatives will discuss the state of traffic and traffic broadcasting in their country, and ways to make traffic programs more useful to the public.
