The first prize was a week-long trip to Vietnam, second prize was a 5-day trip to Vietnam, the two third prizes were 4-day trips to Vietnam and the 13 consolation prizes were worth VND1 million or US$60 each.

During her visit to Saint Petersburg in Russia, VOV Deputy General Director Hoang Minh Nguyet awarded a consolation prize to Mr. G. Anatolevic, a Russia listener. She also presented a copy of an ancient Vietnamese bronze drum to the winner.

Anatolevic said that the contest had helped him get better understanding of Vietnam, its land and people. He also expressed his desire to study Vietnamese and visit the country in the near future.
