(VOVworld) - Bombax ceiba, like other trees of the genus Bombax, is commonly known as cotton tree. The tree is widely planted in southeastern Asian countries such as in Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Chinese Taipei. This Asian tropical tree has a straight tall tree and its leaves are deciduous in winter. VOV5 introduces some photos of cotton tree flowers by Nguyen Anh Tuan.
