(VOVworld) – A solemn ceremony to mark the 90
th anniversary of Caodaism was held in Hanoi on Monday. Representatives of the Government’s Religious Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Caodaist organizations attended the event.

Duong Tien Quan, a Caodai dignitary, said: “Caodaism celebrates its 90
th founding anniversary in Vietnam. We feel the honor that the religion has developed over the past 9 decades. We, true religious practitioners, wish the nation to be peaceful, prosperous, and happy.”
Caodaism has about 2.5 million followers in Vietnam. Duong Ngoc Tan, Deputy Head of the Government’s Religious Committee, expressed his hope that Caodaism will promote unity, solidarity, and mutual support in religious activities as well as in national defense.
