The event aims to create opportunities for female entrepreneurs in the region to share their experiences and contribute proposals to policy makers and programs to support women’s businesses in future. Speaking at the event, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan said the establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community at the end of this year would bring both opportunities and challenges to enterprises, so women entrepreneurs should be always active and creative in forecasting and improving competitive capacity: “The forum is practical in fostering links and cooperation in the region. It also looks toward to a unified ASEAN community and highly competitive economic zone which has further integrated into the global economy. Women entrepreneurs play a significant role in implementing those tasks”.
