(VOVworld) – An annual report on the labor market focusing on labor skills and their correlation with productivity will be issued from this year. The report will include an analysis and evaluation of labor-related issues affecting businesses in order to work out detailed policy recommendations. Addressing a ceremony to introduce the project in Hanoi on Wednesday, Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vu Tien Loc said: “Employers should consult the Party and state in formulating a strategy to develop the labor market and be involved in this process. The business community should be one of the main driving forces in vocational training. The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry has conducted a survey of employers’ ideas in this area and will report every year.”

The annual report on the labor market will be announced in December. It will honor businesses who lead the way in human resource development and labor productivity.
