(VOVworld) - Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, Le Hong Anh, on Monday discussed with Da Nang city’s Party Committee the city’s socio-economic situation in the first half of the year and preparation for the upcoming Party congress of all levels.

Mr. Le Hong Anh praised city’s Party Committee and local people for their achievements in recent years. He urged the city to strengthen communications on local advantages and disadvantages among Party members and make full use of local potential to develop Da Nang into a socio-economic center of the central region and an industrial city by 2020. Le Hong Anh stressed that Da Nang needed to upgrade the local infrastructure focusing on infrastructure for high-tech and IT development and invest more in tourism development and environmental protection.
