(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh has praised Vietnam’s media agencies the professionalism and sharpness.

At Friday’s meeting in Hanoi, ahead of the Lunar New Year, Mr. Minh said the media has properly and speedily covered the external relations activities of the Party and State as well as coordinated with the relevant agencies to promote the nation’s image to the outside world. More importantly, the press and diplomacy have worked together in the interest of a peaceful, stable environment and in the cause of the protection of the national seas and island sovereignty.

Mr. Minh said he hopes the media will continue to uphold its responsibilities and professionalism and cover external relations activities of the Party and State in 2017, when Vietnam will host the APEC summit.
