At a reception in Hanoi on Thursday for Professor John D. Graham, the school’s Rector, Mr. Hue said the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and the US has grown significantly.

He urged Professor Graham and the school to continue to support the Vietnamese government, especially by sharing information on the US’s political system and experience in legislation and public policy building and enforcement, and linking US scholars, policy advisors, and research institutes with Vietnam.

Professor Graham spoke highly of Vietnam’s achievements in socio-economic development over the years, reviewed his public policy experience, and discussed Vietnam-US ties now that President Donald Trump has taken office.
