(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has attended the third China-South Asia Expo and the 23^rd Kunming Import and Export Fair  to take place from June 11 to 13 in Kunming, Yunnan province, China.

During his meeting with Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao, Deputy Prime Minister Hai asserted Vietnam’s stance to pursue peaceful foreign policy, independence, multilateralization and diversification of foreign relations, while respecting the development of comprehensive strategic partnership with China. Regarding the East Sea issue, he urged both sides to comply with agreements and common awareness of senior leaders of both Parties and States on well controlling of differences at sea, not complicating nor expanding conflicts, maintaining peace and stability in the East Sea, implementing the agreement on key principles guilding the settlement of issues at sea, the Declaration on Conducts of Parties in the East Sea towards early finalization of the Code of Conducts of Parties in the East Sea, settling disputes by peaceful means based on international law.

When receiving Yunnan provincial governor Chen Hao, the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed his government efforts to promote bilateral ties in line with the comprehensive strategic partnership.
