(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the implementation of a master plan on simplifying administrative procedures and data concerning residential management during the 2013-2020 period.

Delegates also discussed a draft decree on measures to enforce the Law on Citizen Identity. According to the master plan, a feasibility project to establish a national database of residents will be ratified by the second quarter of this year. Deputy Prime Minister Phuc asked the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice to work closely to enforce the Law on Citizen Identiy and the Law on Household Registration with a focus on ensuring IT infrastructure for the issuing of personal identity numbers from January next year.
