During a 3-day meeting, they will discuss the effectiveness of financial and economic policies put forward since the financial crisis in 2008, review growth strategies, and boost investment amid debt crises in the Eurozone and the developing world. This is the first meeting since G7’s finance leaders directly solicited opinions from seven top economists, including Nouriel Roubini, Kenneth Rogoff, and Larry Summers, the former US Treasury Secretary. They discussed ways to block the money stream to terrorist organizations, particularly the IS and ways to deal with transfer pricing and tax evasion by multinational corporations.

Regarding Greece’s debt, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schauble said G7’s finance leaders will do their best to find a new solution to the problem.
