(VOVworld) – A delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs is visiting Egypt this week to boost cooperation in religious affairs.

On Tuesday they held a working session with Minister of Endowments Mohamed Mokhtar Jumaa, which was attended by Vietnamese ambassador to Egypt Do Hoang Long. Bui Thanh Ha, deputy head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, and the Egyptian minister briefed each other on their countries’ religious situation and policies. They agreed to boost people-to-people exchanges, particularly between the two countries’ Islamic communities.
