(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang has called on Hai Phong city to build an efficient vocational training system to improve its human resources.

During a working session with the city’s leaders on Tuesday, he said the city could issue bonds and make the most of its social resources to develop its key projects. He asked the city to pay more attention to its marine economy and create the best possible conditions for the island districts to develop logistical fishing services.

Earlier, the president visited the staff and soldiers of the Navy Command. He urged them to fulfill their duties in safeguarding national sovereignty, thus helping the development of the marine economy.
