Ho Chi Minh City's leader receives Commander of the US Pacific Command
(VOVworld) – On Thursday, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong received visiting Admiral Harry B. Harris Jr, Commander of the US Pacific Command.

Mr. Phong said the cooperation programmes between Vietnam and the US on Agent Orange/dioxin detoxification and unexploded ordnance clearance and war veterans’ exchanges are humanitarian activities which should be continued.
Admiral Harris said the US will continue its humanitarian aid and dioxin detox efforts in Vietnam. Admiral Harris also met with executives Ho Chi Minh City’s Military Hospital 175.
