Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh city People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong made the statement during a reception in HCM City on Monday for Josephine Teo, Singaporean Senior Minister of State in charge of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Transport. Mr Phong said Ho Chi Minh city hopes to receive more investment from Singaporean businesses in transportation, urban development, and construction.

Ms. Teo said Singapore is keen on sharing experience in economic development with Ho Chi Minh city. She said she is confident that more Singaporean businesses will invest in Vietnam and HCM City in particular.
