(VOVworld) – IT leaders gathered in HCMC on Thursday to discuss ways to improve management in today’s digital revolution.

12th ASEAN summit of Chief Information Officers and Chief Security Officers (CIO/CSO Summit) provided a venue for regional IT experts to share new visions and responsibilities concerning the problems of technology and business.

The annual CIO and CSO Best Choice Products Awards - the benchmark for outstanding technologies and products - was held the same day as the CIO/CSO Summit honoring 27 individuals.

Tran Viet Thang, Director of IT for Vietnam’s Military Bank, was one of the award recipients.

He said: “We are optimizing available resources to build a digital banking solution on mobiphone to meet the bank’s future needs.”

So far, 250 CIOs and CSOs in ASEAN have received Awards.
