(VOVworld) – Iran and the P5+1 group of world powers can still reach a final agreement on Iran’s nuclear program. EU foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, told reporters Sunday that if necessary the talks can be extended past the June 30 deadline.

Mogherini acknowledged that the talks are strained, but said that does not mean parties will not reach a final agreement. Mogherini’s statement came with many observers saying there is little chance of a comprehensive deal.
