Japanese PM concludes 2 day official visit to China

Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda left Beijing on Monday, successfully concluding his official 2 day visit to China. Earlier the same day, he held talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao on bilateral ties and issues of mutual concerns. The Chinese President said Mr. Noda’s visit is significant as both sides will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic ties and deepen bilateral relationship for mutual benefits. Prime Minister Noda stressed that China’s development provides opportunities not only for Japan but also the international community. He also urged Beijing to play a role in restoring the 6 party talks on denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
