(VOVworld) – Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced Tuesday that he will dissolve the lower house on November 21 for an early election and will postpone any sales tax hike because of the difficult economic situation.

Election campaign will begin on December 2^nd and the election will be held on December 14^th. Mr. Abe said he will resign if the ruling Liberal Democratic Party of Japan fails to win a majority of seats in the lower house. Meanwhile, he will craft a new budget for the current fiscal year to boost consumption. Mr. Abe said Japan’s economy has not recovered so he will continue his commitment to Japan’s financial recovery.
