(VOVworld) – On Monday NA deputies discussed controversial points of the draft law on occupational safety and hygiene.

Several deputies said the bill, which was amended and supplemented before its NA submission, clarifies the importance of preventive measures for work accidents and occupational diseases.

They discussed the rights and obligations of laborers, voluntary accident insurance, and state agencies’ responsibility to instruct workers on implementing labor safety and hygiene measures.

The same day NA deputies assessed implementation of socio-economic tasks and the state budget last year and in the beginning months of this year.
