(VOVworld) - The German weekly magazine “Focus” reported on Tuesday that NATO will conduct a military exercise named “Rapid Trident” in western Ukraine from September 11 to 28. The German Federal Ministry of Defense has confirmed the information about the drill which will involve 1,300 soldiers from 14 countries. ‘Rapid Trident’ will take place despite the escalating tensions in Eastern Ukraine. Initiated by US European Command, the “Rapid Trident 14” military exercise will be reportedly conducted in the spirit of NATO’s “Partnership for peace” program.
