(VOVworld) – 300 outstanding farmers representing more than 10 million members of the farmers’ association attended a national patriotic and emulation congress on Friday. Participants will discuss objectives for the next 5 years’ emulation movement.

A member of the Politburo and permanent member of the Party Secretariat Le Hong Anh praised the Vietnam Farmers’ Association’s contribution to the patriotic movement and honored 11 agencies and 300 outstanding farmers. He asked them to promote mutual support and unity in poverty reduction and the building of new rural area in national industrialization and modernization.
