(VOVworld) – On Sunday, more than 18,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces participated in the 2015 Terry Fox Run jointly organised by the Canadian Embassy in Vietnam and the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organisation.

Launched in 1981 in Canada, the annual event has been held in over 60 countries and territories attracting millions of participants making the world biggest fund raising movement for cancer research and treatment.
2015 marks the 35th founding anniversary of the Terry Fox Run and is the 19th time the event has been held in Vietnam.
