(VOVworld)- Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on July 31 issued 4 Decisions approving action programs to implement Vietnam’s Strategy on Industrialization within the Vietnam-Japan cooperation framework until 2020 and 2030 Vision. The programs cover the development of electronic industry, agricultural machinery manufacturing, agricultural and fishery product processing, environment and energy saving industry. Under the Prime Minister’s Decision, by 2020, Vietnam’s electronic industry will be compatible in the region and the world thus serving national economic development, industrialization and modernization. The Decision asks Ministries and sectors to encourage farmers to use agricultural machines. The Prime Minister’s Decision aims to develop Vietnam into a reliable supplier of safe and high quality agricultural, seafood and foodstuff products by 2020. Also under the Decision, the environment and energy saving industry will become a key sector of the national economy which will be capable of dealing with environmental pollution and ensuring sustainable energy use.
