(VOVWorld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received the ambassadors and heads of Vietnam’s overseas representative offices on Monday prior to their departure.

PM Dung urged the diplomats to accomplish their missions by honoring the State’s policies and Party’s guidelines. This will help create a peaceful and stable environment and contribute to national construction and defense. The government leader also said that it is the task of diplomats to convey Vietnam’s external policies to the international community, to help them understand that Vietnam is pursuing an independent and self-reliant external policy. The country wants to be a friend and reliable partner with every nation to ensure peace, co-operation, trust and mutual understanding with the rest of the world.
