Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Friday worked with the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations to review what has been done since the 11^th National Party Congress and set out future tasks. Mr. Trong said home and external affairs are bound to each other:“The Commission for External Relations needs to continue studying the 11^th National Party Congress. Home and external affairs are supplementary to each other. Vietnam’s foreign policy should be thoroughly studied, including latest policy on comprehensive integration, 6 lessons and 9 tasks set out at the 27^th conference of the diplomatic sector. The Commission needs to work harder to make strategic forecast and summaries of reports of the Party Politburo and Secretariat.

The party leader urged the Commission for External Relations  to update information to give timely advise to the Party.  He expressed his belief that the Commission will uphold its 60 year tradition to fulfill tasks entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.
