(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang on Tuesday visited workers at the drilling platforms of the Technological Center No.2 of the Vietnam-Russia Oil and Gas joint venture, Vietsopetro. He appreciated the oil and gas sector’s achievements in recent years and shared his concern about the global oil price drop.
He urged for more efforts to improve workers’ living conditions. “Other countries have price stabilization funds.
We should have a mechanism and a price stabilization fund to support workers’ lives. I wish Vietsopetro will further grow and the relations between Vietnam and Russia will last forever.”
