(VOVworld) – On Monday, President Truong Tan Sang met Sanjay Kalra, Chief representative of the IMF, who said goodbye as he ended his term in Vietnam. The President thanked his efforts to rally support, resources, and policy consultation for Vietnam’s economic development.  
Mr. Sang asked the IMF, as an important global economic institution, to continue assisting Vietnam in finance and policy consultation. Vietnam always appreciated the IMF’s recommendations.
Sanjay Kalra expressed his hope that Vietnam would play an increasingly important position in the region.
