(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang received Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chanocha in Hanoi on Thursday. Sang said Vietnam respects and is willing to promote cooperation with Thailand. He agreed on the Prime Minister’s proposal to expand cooperation between ASEAN member states on areas of potential and strengths. He believed as a coordinator of regional fora, Thailand will remove obstacles and build up ASEAN unity. He expected more exchanges of visits to foster peace and prosperity. The Thai Prime Minister said that both countries should develop bilateral tours and foster cooperation in roads and maritime routes.
