(VOVworld)- President Tran Dai Quang has urged Vietnamese representative offices abroad to continue prioritising matters that serve Vietnam’s sustainable development and raise the country’s position in the world arena.

At a meeting with overseas Vietnamese ambassadors and chief representatives on Thursday, President Quang stressed the need to intensify fundamental research and strategic forecast, and coordinate with competent local agencies to advice the Party and the State about the issuance of diplomatic policies and guidelines on the back of unexpected and complicated developments of the regional and international situations. These offices were asked to outstandingly perform their role in deepening cooperation and friendship between Vietnam and foreign countries.
