(VOVworld) -  A US congressional delegation, led by President pro tempore of the US Senate, Patrick Leahy, on Wednesday began an official visit to Viet Nam from April 16-20 at the invitation of Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung.

The delegation is expected to meet with NA Chairman Hung on Thursday. The visit is expected to chart a new course for cooperation between the two nations’ legislative agencies.
