(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang held a working session with National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and the secretariat of National Assembly delegations on the implementation of the judicial reform strategy until 2020 in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung stressed the need to institutionalize laws specifying the independent role of judicial agencies in prosecutions and to increase the supervision of elected agencies. President Truong Tan Sang said that it was important to boost the implementation of the judicial reform strategy until 2020. He added that it was crucial to increase the National Assembly’s supervision of judicial activities: “Coordination in formulating legal and sub-legal documents should be continued. Vietnam is building a law-governed state, which runs society according to the law.”
