Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung meets voters in Hai Phong
(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Wednesday met with voters in the Thuy Nguyen district of Hai Phong city prior to the 3rd session of the 13th National Assembly.
The Prime Minister answered questions from voters relating to businesses’ difficulties due to inflation. Other voters’ concern include policies for nursery and teachers, traffic accidents and environmental pollution. Regarding the environmental pollution issue, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said: "It is essential to prevent environmental pollution. While implementing the industrialization and modernization process, Hai Phong city’s authorities need to take into consideration environmental issues, including controlling sewerage, dust and noise. It is also necessary to assess any environmental impacts before implementing projects".
The Prime Minister also said that the Government will continue to support fishermen while protecting national sovereignty. The government is also working to complete the policies and laws on land management and use to harmonize the benefits between the State, local people and investors.
