(VOVworld) – Russia won’t accept any plan to restructure Ukraine’s 3-billion-USD debt, said Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, replying to an earlier remark by Ukrainian Finance Minister Natalia Yaresko that restructuring Ukraine’s Euro-bonds needs to be conducted under the London Club’s mechanisms.

Mr Siluanov said Russia expects Ukraine to fulfill its obligations and will sue Ukraine under UK laws if Kiev fails to do so. A source close to the Russian Finance Ministry said the London club’s mechanisms are only applied to private investment.
