(VOVworld) – The Prime Minister has signed a Decision on piloting solutions to support poor households to improve their living safety to deal with floods. Accordingly, towers will be built as shelters for 700 poor families in 14 communes severely affected by floods in 7 provinces in northern central and central coastal region. These towers will be built up to 3.6 meters higher than the flooding levels with a minimum area of 10 square meters and a cost of 1500 USD per unit.
