(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Public Security has kicked off its 7^th sports festival, entitled “Strong for national security”. The opening ceremony in Hanoi on Thursday was attended by member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Le Hong Anh and Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang.
The festival will be held in Khanh Hoa, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Hai Phong, Phu Yen, and Hanoi. Thousands of coaches and athletes, who work at public security units and study at public security schools nationwide, will compete in 13 games including swimming, table tennis, chess, taekwondo, cross-country running, and football. The festival is organized every 5 years.
