(VOVworld) - A supervisory delegation from the National Assembly’s Standing Committee held a meeting in Hanoi on Monday to listen to reports on the outcomes of new policies on land for business and residential purposes for ethnic minority people. Last year, more than 320,000 ethnic minority people still had no land from which they could earn a living from. Kso Phuoc heads up the National Assembly’s Supervisory Delegation ‘We need to have more details to be able to explain why there remain so many conflicts over residential and commercial land after all the years we have given tried to tackle the issue. We must learn the reasons behind this and see whether it’s due to the ethnic groups themselves, natural disasters or the state management. We need to identify the reasons before we can come up with an appropriate solution’.
