Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong said Vietnam has cooperated closely with other members in the Asia and Pacific region.

“The standardization of the IT and communications sectors is of great significance because it will be hard for member countries get connected with each other without common standards and regulations. There are many working groups at this meeting discussing wireless technology, equipment and network standards,” said Hong.
