(VOVworld) – The Venezuelan government solemnly marked Thursday, the 2^nd anniversary of the late President Hugo Chavez’s death, at Bolivar square in the capital Caracas where his tomb is situated. Cannons were fired at 4:25 pm local time in Caracas to start the ceremony. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called Chavez the only Venezuelan leader that realized liberator Simon Bolivar’s ideology. Activities are underway across Venezuela to mark the event.
