(VOVworld) -  Vietnam Airlines launched a new international route linking central Da Nang city and Thailand’s Bangkok on Sunday.

The airlines will conduct four flights per week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. The one-hour-and-35-minute long flights will depart from Da Nang at 10:55pm and at 1:45am from Bangkok. It is the fourth international flight departing from Da Nang following the opening of routes to Siem Reap, Seoul and Tokyo. Trinh Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Director of Vietnam Airlines, said: “The opening of the air route showed the determination of Vietnam Airlines and Da Nang city in developing international and domestic flights. The new air route will help Vietnam Airlines diversify its products, increase competitiveness and realize its goal to become one of Asia’s leading airlines”.
