(VOVworld) - Defense Minister Phung Quang Thanh held talks with his Republic of Korea counterpart, Han Min-koo, in Hanoi on Thursday, on measures to further strengthen defense relations between the two countries.
Minister Thanh highlighted the rapid and strong growth of cooperation between Vietnam and the RoK in the range of fields in recent years. He said that he believed the visit by Minister Han Min-koo would contribute to bilateral ties in the field of defense, creating momentum for mutual understanding and trust between the two countries’ armies and people in the near future.
The Korean RoK Defense Minister expressed his desire for defense ties to be enhanced to match the strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries.
