(VOVworld)- Vietnam always attaches high importance to strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation with ASEAN countries including Singapore, said Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang while meeting with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in Singapore on Saturday. Minister Quang expressed his hope that Prime Minister Lee will continue to create favorable conditions for Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs and law enforcement agencies to increase cooperation with the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security in crime prevention and control and security enhancement, contributing to the strategic partnership between the two countries. PM Lee Hsien Loong expressed his delight at close and effective cooperation between the two countries in general, and between Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs and Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security in particular. The Singaporean Prime Minister said that the visit would contribute to enriching bilateral ties.
