Vietnam, Slovakia promote multi-faceted cooperation

(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Slovakia will continue to take specific measures to promote bilateral cooperation in various fields including economics, trade and investment. This was committed during Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai’s visit to Slovakia from December 3-5.

At a talk with Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Lubomir Vazny, the two sides agreed to maintain regular exchange of high-level delegations and create favorable conditions to exploit opportunities and potentials of cooperation between the two countries. The two countries committed to support each other at regional and international forums. Vietnam is ready to serve as a bridge for Slovakia to join the ASEAN market.
Slovakia pledged to help Vietnam to penetrate into the European market. Deputy Prime Minister Hai asked Slovakia to create the best possible conditions for Vietnamese community to live, work and study there.
During his stay in Slovakia, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai attended the Vietnam-Slovakia Economic Cooperation Forum. He also met staff of the Vietnamese embassy in Slovakia and representatives of Vietnamese community there.

On Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister Hai visited the Slovak Nuclear Power Plant Research Institute and Slovnaft oil refinery plant.
