(VOVworld) – Seventeen businesses in the Egyptian city of Alexandria participated in a workshop on Monday to learn about business opportunities in Vietnam.

Vietnamese trade counselor in Egypt Pham The Cuong briefed participants on Vietnam’s economy and business potentials. Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Dao Thanh Chung said the attendant businesses want to cooperate with Vietnam in agriculture, imports and exports, mechanics, and pharmaceuticals. The event was co-organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt and the Alexandria Chamber of commerce.
