(VOVworld)- The 4^th High-Level Economic Dialogue between Vietnam and France took place in Paris on Monday. Vice Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen The Phuong and the French Secretary for Foreign Trade, Tourism Promotion, and Overseas French co-chaired the event.

Vietnam increasingly attractive to French investors

The two officials highlighted the importance of the event in implementing economic cooperation programs under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership the two countries signed in 2013. This is also a preparation for French President Francois Hollande’s visit to Vietnam scheduled for September. Phuong said the annual high-level economic dialogue creates an opportunity for the two countries to boost economic, trade, investment, and development cooperation. The two sides discussed ways to promote green growth and mitigate the impact of climate change on agriculture. French delegates introduced innovative solutions to create a safe and effective food environment.
