(VOVworld) - Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (Vicofa) has compiled a common export contract template for coffee exporters in a bid to control possible risks in case of trade disputes.

According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in the year 2010 – 2011, Vietnam exported 1.28 million tons of coffee, an increase of 7 percent compared to the last crop and earned nearly 2.7 billion USD from coffee exporting. Local coffee exporters are not using the same contract template, which has caused them a lot of difficulties over previous years. The common export contract stipulates the quantity, packaging, payment and trade arbitration.
