The experts said that although Vietnam’s exports to the US have grown rapidly, their value and penetration of the US market was still low. Patrick Twall, the Commercial Attaché to the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, said that Vietnamese businesses should increase the number of value-added exports, improve product quality, assure product delivery punctuality, and prepare certificates of product quality, origins, and payment to meet US standards.
