Vietnam’s Communist Party strengthen ties with Russian political parties
(VOVworld) – A Vietnamese Party delegation attended this week an international workshop on global challenges and the path to a just world in Moscow at the invitation of the A Just Russia Party. The delegation was led by Nguyen Tuan Phong, deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission on External Relations. Mr. Phong’s speech at the event stressed the responsibility to protect world peace, particularly since World War 2. He said: “This workshop will help to respond to global challenges. This is also an opportunity to increase mutual understanding and cooperation for world peace, prosperity, happiness, and sustainable development.”

The Vietnamese delegation met with President of the A Just Russia Party Sergey Mironov, who congratulated Vietnam on the 40th anniversary of its national reunification. He said that his party supports the strengthening of the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership and considers developing relations with the Communist Party of Vietnam an important political basis to promote bilateral cooperation.
